This tiny space was one of our biggest home renovation challenges. A grungy basement on St. Botolph Street was transformed into a beautiful in-city second home.
All new electricity and lighting was run, major work was done to bring the plumbing up to code, including back-flow protection, adding new fixtures in the kitchen as well as moving the very old and tired existing bathroom.
The "window" in the bedroom is actually an opening to the internal light shaft of the building bringing light from four floors above.
